And it dries very dark, so your lashes aren't making a big statement (other than how long and full they are, with this mascara in particular) but the whites of your eyes are going to look whiter, brighter, and your eyes will look bigger. I've seen this mascara on many eyes, and purple is more universally flattering than blue, especially on green eyes. Depending on your shade of blue (if you have blue eyes, or any color eyes really) navy eye liner looks very nice.īut, back to my point about not being partial to blue mascara and wanting to highlight my purple lashes is that I think purple is just as good if not better than the blue. If it is a darker blue, that might be easier to pull off, but it is also even more easier to find an appropriate colored blue eye liner and use black mascara. Even though the mascara usually dries darker on the lashes than how it looks in the tube, I still feel like the colors are competing. Why I wanted to really bring focus to my purple mascara is because all you hear about lately is how colored mascara, most specifically blue, can make eyes appear "bigger, brighter, more awake, etc." Being a person with blue eyes, I am not really partial to blue mascara. I especially like it because it really highlighted my Extreme Purple mascara from Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Extreme mascara. Then I followed with the Cooling deep conditioner, which I of course left on for like 5 minutes, but when I rinsed my hair felt so heavenly. This is then followed by the Refining Sea Polish that at first freaked me out, because it is super gritty like the salt you exfoliate your body with, and especially after using the detox shampoo (which I feel like made my hair seem very vulnerable) I was afraid to use this Refiner that is actually packed full of Pumice (thats the grit). This next aThe shampoo is a s ulfate-free, paraben-free, and silicone-free cleanser that literally takes off everything on your hair (Very similar to any kind of purple shampoo).
